Reformation's party edit just landed and our bank balance is worried
Velvet, silk slips and a new Alexa Chung collab. The 12 Reformation pieces to buy before the work do.

Reformation does two things very well: the slip dress, and the sort of velvet that makes a Tuesday feel like a wedding. This season it has done both, then brought in Alexa Chung for good measure.
The party edit is now at Selfridges and the Chung pieces are the ones to move on first. The Radziwill midi and the Legacy gown are proper occasion dressing. The satin cocktail mini will cover every work do between now and New Year. Silk slips in the popular sizes go early, so if you know yours, don't faff.

One honest caveat: silk has very little give. If you're between sizes, size up and have it taken in. Cheaper than a second dress.
